Movement Reel.

In 2018, I suffered a career-altering (and nearly ending) injury.  Just months before starting my journey at NYU, I ruptured my left Achilles tendon.  It ruptured again only 3 months into my graduate studies in New York.  This forever changed the way I view dance, my own body, and my place in this art.  When I was finally cleared to return to the studio, it was awkward.  The coordination, the strength, the trust, the familiarity - all gone.  I had to start over.  This reel is my new start.  While all the footage was shot in the studio it more accurately depicts the dancer I am today.  Wiser, filled with gratitude, and so joyful that I still get to walk into the studio every morning.
