Pecksniffian (2019)

Pecksniffian: Adj, unctuously hypocritical

I came across this unusual word at an apt time in my life when I needed to hear it most.  Looking for the dawn at midnight, I wanted to make a light-hearted piece that poked fun at the hypocritical nature of human beings.  Humor can be used to mask emotion or to highlight it; in this case, it was both simultaneously.  The dichotomous relationship humans have between their inner and outer selves is complex, vast, and peppered with the details of perspective that sometimes make it hard to reconcile the two beings.
